Andy Evans
Assistant Pastor
Responsible for supporting the preaching and teaching team
Andy was raised in a Christian family and came to know the Lord at the age of 12. Andy later left for University and, for the first time, found himself faced with real temptation and actively made a decision to live obediently to the call of Christ and for the furtherance of the gospel. Andy was part of the founding team called to plant Firwood Church and has since served in both the youth work and worship team.
Andy was called by the Lord to serve as Assistant Pastor in late 2006.
Andy and his wife, Caroline, have been married since 2000 and are new parents to their son, Gideon Thomas. Andy and Caroline live in the Middleton area, just a short distance from Firwood Church.
Andy enjoys playing slide guitar (badly) and listening to '90s grunge-rock.
Andy regularly preaches at both Sunday morning and evening services and teaching evenings and leads a fortnightly Bible study.
