Teaching series continues: The Holy Spirit

Just a quick reminder that the teaching series on the Holy Spirit continues on Wednesday 27 August and concludes on Wednesday 3 September 2008, both sessions starting at 19.30 at Firwood Church.

This Wednesday, we pick up from last time, working our way through chapters 12 through to 14 of Paul’s first epistle to the church in Corinth. We will spend much of our time thinking about the gifts of tongues and prophecy and what scripture has to teach us with regards to seeking and exercising spiritual gifts.

Next week we will finish by answering questions that have been raised during the course of the teaching series. There is an opportunity for everyone to ask any burning questions and clarify any outstanding issues, the easiest way to do this is to either email your question to life@firwood.church or to post it in the silver box at church either this Wednesday or Sunday.

I am really excited about what God would teach us over these next two weeks, I look forward to seeing you there.
