Welcome!

I’d like to welcome you to the Pastors’ blog.

During the time in which I have served as Pastor at Firwood Church, I have had the very great privilege of seeing people both come to know the Lord and grow in their knowledge and love of Him. It has been a great blessing to see God raise up many people with a passion to spread the gospel and further His kingdom. As a church, we have sent out people to advance the gospel both in this country and overseas. We have also come to know many brothers and sisters in Christ from around the world. 

For some time now, it has been on our heart to make Firwood Church available to our brothers and sisters who are unable to commute from the other side of the world each Sunday morning! We also hope to better serve those of us who think of Firwood Church as home. We hope to do this by uploading the weekly messages and teaching sessions and making them available as podcasts to download. We also intend to make a range of resources (study notes, book and media reviews, etc.) available through our resources section. Through this website you will be able to find out what is going on and connect with us through our bible studies, home groups and Sunday services. 

We will also endeavour to keep you updated and in touch through these blogs.

Although this website is still under construction, content is being added on a weekly basis. We hope that, through this website, you will be able to keep up to date with what God is doing in and through Firwood Church.
