Songs of Ascent, part IX – The Lord My Blessing
The Songs of Ascent are a collection of Psalms (running from Psalm 120 through to Psalm 135) which pilgrims sang as they travelled towards Jerusalem and up to the temple. In Psalm 128, we encounter the second of the two wisdom Psalms in this series.
In part nine of this fifteen part series, Phill Marsh examines the blessings extolled by the Psalmist and the proper attitude to be found in those the Lord blesses.
