I really like this album especialy Jesus saves. We had an amazing time learning the song to do at church i think evryone in the band would agree! haha!

I pretty much agree with you Jonny. I think Tim Hughes is perhaps my favourite singer-songwriter where worship music is concerned. I loved ‘Holding Nothing Back’ – not a single song on it that I don’t like.

However, even with Holding Nothing Back I was surprised to find the great, but ancient, ‘God of Justice (We Must Go)’ on it. Perhaps we are expecting too much, as this IS a live album. I just feel that it should have contained more new songs.

So, to sum up; Buy Holding Nothing Back if you don’t have it. Tim Hughes is a gifted singer and songwriter, and has produced some amazing songs.

Andy – ha, I don’t recall there being anything particularly ‘blue’ on the DVD and now I don’t want to watch again in case! Hee hee.

And, nope, I don’t feel guilty, but rather pleased to have saved you some pennies. Just buy Jesus Saves as a download for 79p; that’s what I did anyways.

It is a good album, but probably not worth it if you have Holding Nothing Back. Then again, it is a live album, so it is a bit different that way.

Jonny Justice… I like it.

Also – did you watch the DVD? I hear it’s rather blue. But Mr Hughes is still a brilliant worship leader and song writer.

Thanks for the review… do you feel at all guilty that you are the reason I’m not going to buy this now (I already own Holding Nothing Back)?

Dear Pastor Jonny,

Thank you for the recommendation,I only have Delirious and Hillsong United CD’s.

After reading your review (which I found interesting and easy to read)I am taking the liberty to share what the “WOAAAAAHHHH OOOHHHH OH….shout” means to me; “it is un expression of a very deep and explosive emotion”. You can compare it to “speaking in tongues” (if you believe in it)where only God knows and understands what REALLY is going on in your mind, soul and body. The thruth is when I am “WOAAAAAHHHH OOOHHHH OHing” along, I have long passed from the natural to the spiritual realm, where I do not have control of what comes out of my mouth (spiritually speaking that is. I apologise for the audacity but I felt the need to explain why I secretly enjoy the all WOAAAAAHHHH OOOHHHH OHing as you pointed out (I thought it was funny).

Finaly, “Jonny Justice” indeed; thank you and keep it coming.
